The Mail on Sunday has unveiled a seismic revelation that over 100 secret emails, some allegedly linking Prince Andrew to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, are under review by the US Congress, with insiders warning the Duke of York faces potential destruction.
The cache, dubbed the Epstein Files, contains “incriminating” correspondence that a source describes as “embarrassing and incriminating,” predicting severe fallout for Andrew as the documents near release. This follows the resignation of Lord Peter Mandelson as Britain’s ambassador to Washington over his own Epstein-related emails, with the source noting, “If you think what happened to Peter Mandelson is bad, you have no idea what will happen when the Andrew emails are released.”
David Boies, representing Andrew’s accuser Virginia Giuffre, asserts evidence supports a criminal investigation, though Andrew denies Giuffre’s trafficking claims, having settled a 2022 civil case for a reported £12 million without admitting liability.
Publicly available emails already highlight Andrew’s past ties, including a 2011 message attributed to him stating, “Keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon!!,” and a 2015 exchange with Ghislaine Maxwell seeking details about Giuffre.
This unfolding saga, layered with decades of Epstein-related scrutiny, intensifies pressure for transparency as Congress prepares to disclose the files, possibly reshaping the Duke’s public standing.
