Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has officially unveiled plans for his highly anticipated “G.O.A.T. The Greatest Of All Time Experience” concert, which will take place at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Billed as a grand homecoming celebration, the show is presented by Futurefest and will feature a full-album performance of Wizkid’s latest project Morayo alongside the classic hits that cemented his global reputation.

Tickets go on general sale on Thursday, December 5, at 12 noon WAT, with prices set at ₦50,000 for regular Wizkid FC members, ₦100,000 for VIP, and ₦150,000 for Golden Circle access. Presale access for Wizkid FC members will begin earlier, with details shared through his official channels.

The announcement has ignited excitement across social media, with fellow stars including Olamide and DJ Tunez, among the first to react with celebratory posts. Fans are already calling it the potential concert of the decade in Lagos, especially as it falls during the peak of Detty December. Some supporters playfully referenced Wizkid’s 2023 declaration that he had performed his last paid show in Lagos, with one viral tweet joking: “Big Wiz said no more paid shows… then dropped Morayo and said ‘just kidding, one more for the Starboy family.’”

Tafawa Balewa Square, with its historic open-air capacity, is expected to host tens of thousands under the Lagos night sky, marking another landmark moment in Wizkid’s career following his performances at the O2 Arena in London, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Madison Square Garden in New York. Organizers have teased more guest artists and special surprises for the night, making this the biggest Afrobeats concert announcement of December 2025 so far.
